NGO Operational Audit

The purpose of this operational audit was to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance of its resource management and program execution. Program implementation, financial management, human resources, and adherence to donor and regulatory requirements were among the topics reviewed by the audit. The goal was to make sure that resources are used properly and openly and that activities are in line with the organization’s objectives.

According to our research, it has shown a great dedication to its mission, and its programs are generally well-run and in line with its declared objectives. The audit did find certain areas that needed improvement, though, such as inconsistent documentation, delayed grant release, and inadequate project outcome monitoring. Additionally, internal control protocols had flaws, especially in relation to reporting and procurement procedures.

We advise strengthening internal controls, improving staff training on compliance procedures, and implementing frequent project performance reviews in light of the audit. Long-term sustainability and donor confidence depend on enhanced accountability, more efficient use of funds, and improved impact measurement, all of which can be achieved by addressing these problems.
